Doctor appointmet

Today at Bree's doctor appointment, they did a thorough checkup and said that everything seems fine with both Bree and baby. Even though last week Bree was told by a nurse practitioner that they'd consider inducing her this Friday, the doctor today said that as long as the fetal heart rate and movements are good, and as long as the sonogram shows enough fluid around the baby, they won't induce 'till she's closer to 42 weeks. (Today she is 40 weeks, 5 days.) So Bree will have checkups every few days to monitor things, and if she still doesn't go into labor by the end of next week, that's when they'll induce. Bree thinks she'll start labor on her own and have Cassidy next Tuesday! We'll see. Bree seems more willing to wait now, wanting the baby to be completely ready to be born. You can't rush some things. :)

None of the at-home labor inducing tricks seem to do anything. But we'll probably keep doing them, just to be doing something. My ankle isn't too bad after yesterday's stumble. I'm walking on it as needed, and hope perhaps tomorrow I can go out for a walk with Bree. She's still staying here with us, eating everything in sight. Haha.
