Almost 6 mo's old
Hi there~
I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything here. It's been a busy summer. Cassidy is growing and changing daily. She's reached some more milestones and everyone considers her very advanced for her age. She began sitting up right around 5 months, and she first laughed about then, too. She was scooting herself around pretty well by then, also, and she officially crawled on 8/29, at about 5.5 months. She eats some solid foods now, like rice cereal and fruits.
Cassidy's a very independent little girl and is content to sit and play with toys (i.e. trying to eat them) for some time. When she gets bored, she wants to go exploring, so we have to keep a constant eye on her. It's amazing how quickly she can find something to get into!
Breanna now works almost full time so Cassidy has a wonderful home childcare provider named Debra. On Wednesdays, I pick Cassidy up at Debra's in the morning and we go to a baby sign language class. Cassidy loves to watch Lanna, the teacher, sing songs and make the American Sign Language signs for key parts of each song. It's fun for both of us.

By the way, it appears that this blog site now allows posting videos, but I can't get it to work. I'll keep trying because I'd love to share some footage of Cassidy on here.
